Andrew Dey is currently providing consultancy services to corporate Legal teams on strategy and technology. Andrew left Barclays in the first quarter of 2016. He had held various operational, change management, technology and strategy roles at director level within the global legal team at the bank. Andrew was a founder member of the Banking Legal Technology (“BLT”) group, the Legal IT Innovators Group (“LITIG”) and the “KMIT” in-house legal group and is an active member of the Knowledge Management Committee of the Society for Computers and Law.
He also worked closely with the LEDES Oversite Committee to produce the international version of their eBilling standard, pioneered the use of matter management and eBilling in the UK, is on the UK Programming Team of the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA), and has been on the judging panel for a number of the Legal Week Awards. He is familiar with many of the software solutions on the market for corporate legal teams, and is working on a part time basis with Consilio in their provision of consultancy services to the in-house community.
