Head of Enterprise Legal Operations & Central Contracting, Group Enterprise Legal
Vodafone Business (team size 26 – 250)
I passionately believe that the legal industry is ready for fundamental reform. It is inevitable that the advancement in technology will have an impact on our industry where today the vast majority of work is being undertaken by humans. Significant changes are needed to help address in a cost efficient manner the increases in regulation, globalisation and complexity in services. The current way of working, particularly in the area of contracting negotiation, is extremely manual, time consuming and inefficient. Everyone is overworked, and there is more and more need for our expertise. Further, customers and consumers are demanding a better way. The industry is ripe for transformation, and I am very excited to be at the forefront of this transformation.
I have worked for Vodafone for 12 years in a number of different legal roles. Most recently, and prior to becoming Head of Legal Operations, I accepted a secondment opportunity to be the Chief of Staff for our Vodafone Business CEO. This role gave me operational experience and a greater understanding of the priorities and drivers for Vodafone Business. Once the role had ended, I was able to use this knowledge, combined with my legal background, to lead the Operations team.
